Friday, September 5th, 2008

I am just heading off to shoot a wedding, and my oh my is it raining. I thought I best stay true to my promise to blog everyday-I will be posting today’s wedding over the weekend. And I have a dog shoot tomorrow so will post that too. Have a good weekend, stay dry and warm, N

Wishing there were more hours in the day…

So much going on, it’s the busiest time EVER, which brings worry (does the client like the images, album, print, canvas etc etc) and big yawns (sleepless night worrying about the above), but it’s also the most exciting time EVER. I am so lucky to have a job which doesn’t feel at all like a job. Do I sound like I am boasting…?!

Just a sneek peek from today.

Wild Mint. Candle. The White Company. Mmmm
Tuesday, September 2nd, 2008

Hey look at me… posting everyday, I am doing well aren’t I? Aren’t I?!

So this is more of a personal post, side stepping slightly, but I will share some pictures from today’s shoot later this evening. But for now, this is Kate. We were location scouting recently, it was a bright blue morning, gorgeous light and I had to take her picture. I love the look she is giving me. I have known this girl many years and thought I knew all her looks, but this face is new to me. I think it’s her eyes, I know she is saying something but I am not quite sure what.

Wise Words
Monday, September 1st, 2008

Seth Godin in my opinion is a legend. Here are some of his wisest words.

‘Customers may scream that you need to lower your prices. It’s not true. You need to increase your value. If people don’t want to pay it’s because you’re not delivering enough value for the money you’re charging.’

Ooooh he’s good.

Hot Lemon and Honey
Monday, September 1st, 2008

Today has been one of those perfect days. I have been crazy productive and made my way through my list of things to do, squeezed in a run in the rain this afternoon and now sit here blogging (everyday, as promised!) while drinking hot lemon and honey and listening to Chris Evans. Radio 2 all the way.

I was making a DVD for recent couple Kirsty & Phil and found an image which I must have overlooked the first time because this time looking at it, I thought how intense it was and how on earth I had not paid more attention to it the first time around. Anyway, it deserves posting.
