Look how brave I am!

I came out of my office this afternoon to find Potter sitting on the couch armchair. She is able to climb on the couch now it seems and was sitting precariously on the arm, I swear she was waiting for me to see her-she had a look on her face as if to say ‘look how clever I am!’ I told her it wasn’t big or clever and she best let me get some work done to pay for the vets bill she is going to cost me when she falls off and breaks her legs. Actually that’s a lie… I smiled at the cuteness and ran for my camera.
More Potter.

A lovely weather weekend, it’s such a shame Potter can’t go outside yet. I am back to work today with a shoot this afternoon, thankfully lovely weather for it. Here are a couple more Potter shots, I love the first one because you can see that her eyes are different colours, or rather one is a lot bluer than the other. The vet said it isn’t anything to worry about, it is just something that makes her special. I wonder if they will change with time, I hope not, I like that this is something unique to her. In the last 2 pics-if you notice she yawns and then she sleeps. I don’t think she will be able to fit on my stomach for that much longer.

She sleeps. Just not during the night!!!!

So here she is… Potter

I can’t believe this day finally arrived, I have wanted a dalmation for years. So far she is living up to my expectations-she’s asleep on my lap as I type this. She seems to just wander aimlessly looking very lost and very tired but hasn’t quite settled enough to figure out her bed is for sleeping, and yes she really can just take herself off to bed at any point. When she climbs on to your lap and curls in to a ball you know she is utterly exhausted and desperate for you to hold her while she sleeps. I figure I am probably breaking all the rules in the book by giving in to her, but hey ho. I guess the real test will be tonight, I have sworn she is coming no where near my bed. I have been trailing behind her with my camera as it seems she already has a fan base waiting to see what she looks like, after hearing so much about her awaited arrival. She is very fast and very small so forgive my pictures. Today is a very very good day. N x
